Welcome to First Baptist Church of Sunbury, PA!
At First Baptist Church, we are a family of Christ-followers whose purpose is to help people fall in love with Jesus and become all that God has created them to be. We do that through the five primary purposes that God has given His Church; fellowship, discipleship, ministry, evangelism, and ultimately worship (cf. Mk. 12:28-31, Mt. 28:19-20).
We’re excited about what God has been doing in and through His Church for almost 170 years and what He continues to do today. And we’re convinced that He’s not finished with us yet. In fact, we believe the best is yet to come as we continue to seek and serve Him with all our hearts.
Our prayer is that you sense God’s love for you in every aspect of our ministry and that you join us in this exciting journey to eternity with our Lord Jesus Christ!
